Consignment Boutique Shipping Terms
Shipping and handling charges vary, and
are based on the combined weight of the items included on the order,
dimensions of the package (for oversized packages only), your
location, choice of shipping type and / or extra insurance. Encore
Consignments will ship
worldwide. You can view your shipping / handling costs prior to payment
by going through the checkout process.
Extra handling charges may apply if alternate shipping is
requested.
All shipping costs for each
UPS domestic or international package
shipment include insurance covering the cost of the product(s) by
UPS
against loss or damage up to a value of US$100. Excess Value Insurance
provides protection above US$100.
Coverage for each additional US$100 of value or fraction thereof
can be purchased for US$0.35 per package. This charge is automatically
calculated into the shipping cost by selecting the add insurance box
at the checkout screen.
It is solely the buyer's responsibility to add the additional
insurance.
Additionally,
UPS reserves the right to assess the Additional
Handling Charge for any package that, in
UPS's sole discretion,
requires special handling. This charge may be applied to all packages
without regard to the service level selected.
Due to the delicate nature of our items, we take extra measures to
protect them during shipping. We charge $5.00 handling for packaging
on all orders. This charge is automatically added into the sale, and
is listed at checkout with the item cost, shipping, etc., before the
sale is completed.
Packages that are Damaged In Transit are the sole responsibility
of the shipping company (UPS),
and reimbursement of the insured value of the items damaged is the
responsibility of the shipping company (UPS).
Shipping and handling prices are expressed in US dollars.
All related import taxes and duties (for international shipments)
are the responsibility of the buyer. These charges will be assessed
prior to shipment, and a notification will be sent to the customer at
that time.
Please e-mail specific details if you have OTHER shipping requests
(for example FedEx), and we will assess additional charges (if any),
and customers will be notified by e-mail.
Please allow 24 to 48 hours for order processing. (Note: Shipping
does not include order-processing time.)
If an item is NOT in stock, we will notify you by e-mail, and ask
how you would like to proceed.
We notify our customers when their item ships, and provide
tracking information.
